I have to admit I'm a true romantic. I would love to go out to a quiet little secluded restaurant for for dinner, share some wine, great conversation- followed by a goodnight kiss if the chemistry is right between us...
An ideal date would be a long conversation getting to know each other over dinner wether we go out or we cook for one another good glass of wine , good smooth jazz and just learning about each other.
A cultural food festival, fair, cooking class, volunteer together, poetry reading, flea market are a few ideas. Any place we can have time to sit and talk, as well enjoy the sights. A place we both share an interest.

A first date should be meeting up for coffee, sweet tea in my case or even ice cream. Just getting to know one another to see if we click. Somewhere quiet si we can actually hear each other would be nice.

Coffee means no expectations, but hopefully it can turn into talking and laughing all afternoon until we have to switch to decaf!
Then, if it is of that variety, we can walk off that caffeine with a stroll through one of the local museums or maybe a gallery. That way we can expand our topics of conversation with visual aids! Of course, knowing me, I will end up going into "lecture mode" and will explain all about why Picasso was not an abstract artist, or the visual symbols used in medieval religious iconography, lol!
